Rehearsal Dinner Spots in Northern NJ

Typically, the rehearsal dinner is held the night before the wedding. It’s an opportunity for you and your wedding party to rehearse the ceremony and to go over details such as who is walking when, who is responsible for the rings, and where to stand or sit. After the ceremony rehearsal, you’ll most likely go to dinner with your wedding party. There are multiple restaurants near Rock Island and the local hotels that we highly recommend. Here are a few!

Right across the lake from Rock Island is an Airbnb. If you choose to spend your wedding weekend here, they do allow small rehearsal dinners. It’s pretty fun getting to see your wedding venue as you prep for the big day!

At Rock Island, we do a ceremony walkthrough on the day of your wedding. In most cases, your wedding coordinator will do the ceremony rehearsal while the couple of honor is taking pictures. They’ll line the wedding party up, instruct them when to walk, let them know where to go when they get to the arch, and then how to recess at the conclusion of the ceremony.
